Cloak of Sidhe - Back Standing by gstqfashions Cloak of Sidhe - Back Standing by gstqfashions
This was a commission for a client that included a coat, pants, red top, matching red collar, white braided wig, and gloves. The coat and pants are made of a distressed brown pleather, fully lined in a brown dull satin, and adorned with numerous fabric appliques and coordinating gold trim. There are multiple storm flaps on the coat, at the front right, sleeves, and back. There are approximately 45 yards of trim on this outfit. The coat lapels were done in a dark grey pebbled texture vinyl to match the reference pic. The pants feature a back invisible zip, tabbed belt loops with button details, and a black belt with an over-sized gold buckle.

Athena, thanks for the compliment! I'd say the exact same thing about your Wicked Witch and Tin Man costumes! I loooooved the spider-web pattern you did on the velvet.

To answer your question - it is actually a character named Ellen from the PS3 game Folklore (also referred to as Folksoul).

Thanks so much for the compliments! The appliques are a holographic material - it looks really sparkly when a little light hits it =)

Here are some reference pics if you're interested: [link]

Was this supposed to be one of the Sidhe from Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy? I would certainly work for that setting.

And it's just lovely. The mottled, almost metallic looking appliqué, the intricacy of the pattern, and especially the way the red semi-circle balances everything- lovely.
