Cloak of Twilight - Front by gstqfashions Cloak of Twilight - Front by gstqfashions
Photo by Silas Zee. Modeled by LdyDarkStr. Painted details by Jose Velez. Costume construction by Catherine L. Jones. This costume won 3rd place at the Dragon*Con Afterdark Costume Contest (2008).

This costume was an eclectic mix of various fabrics and construction techniques. The hood, shrug, bikini top, bikini bottom were made of brown pleather adorned with gold trim and gold painted details. The fire-print chaps and hip "wigs" were made of a poly chiffon. A variety of strategically placed snaps and hooks kept everything in place =) The collar and hood feature blanket stitch edging done in artificial sinew - just to keep things interesting!

Thank you! It is from the PS3 game "Folklore" - the character's name is Ellen, and this is her "Cloak of Twilight" from the game.

Actually, I just realized that I misspelled it! It should read as "LdyDarkStr." Thanks for the catch!

It is beautiful! Folklore has such amazing character designs, and yet this is the first costume I've seen from it. I love all the detail work.
